About the CM6 Name
Who We Are
CM6 represents Cynthia and Marlon Curtis and their four children, forming a family of six. The Curtis family, based in Louisiana, chose this name to reflect their strong family bond and commitment to hard work. With over 40 years in the construction industry—primarily in oil and gas—Marlon has built numerous pipelines and facilities, all requiring significant dirt work.
A challenge he consistently faced was preventing soil erosion on slopes, especially after fertilizing and planting, as the seed would often wash down to the bottom. That’s where the Grouser Pro comes in. Marlon designed the machine to compact soil more effectively than traditional methods, leaving unique grouser marks that prevent soil erosion and hold the seed and fertilizer in place until germination.
The Grouser Pro is also efficient—it requires smaller equipment, is easy to maneuver, reduces fuel costs, and covers ground twice as fast as previous methods. Proudly made in the USA, the CM6 machine is the Curtis family’s solution to a longstanding industry challenge.
